During the trip, nearly 20 representatives of tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan explored Azerbaijan’s existing tourism infrastructure, available services, beach tourism opportunities, cultural heritage and national cuisine.

As part of the visit, a B2B business meeting was organized between representatives of the tourism industries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and nearly 80 representatives of local tourism companies and hotels. Discussions focused on establishing new cooperation opportunities and expanding existing partnerships.

It should be noted that more than 50,000 visitors from Kazakhstan and over 34,000 visitors from Uzbekistan travelled to Azerbaijan in the first half of 2026. Compared with the same period last year, this represents increases of 11% and 49%, respectively.
